Kia has officially sent ‘Block Your Date’ invitations for July 23–28 — the Syros EV is arriving. India’s most affordable Kia electric SUV is weeks away. Here is everything confirmed right now.
Kia Has Officially Confirmed: Syros EV Debuts July 23–28, 2026
Kia India has sent out official ‘Block Your Date’ event invitations to media for a product event scheduled between July 23–28, 2026. While Kia has not confirmed the exact product, the Kia Syros EV is unanimously expected to make its India debut at this event — confirmed by multiple sources including Autocar India, DriveSpark, and CarWale.

The market launch and price announcement are expected to follow approximately 2–4 weeks after the debut — meaning deliveries could begin as early as mid-August 2026. This is Kia’s second locally manufactured EV in India (after the EV6), and its most affordable electric vehicle in the Indian market.
Why the Syros EV Is Significant
The ICE-powered Kia Syros (petrol and diesel) launched in January 2026 and became an immediate hit — selling over 10,000 units per month by March 2026. Its USPs: a boxy tallboy design, exceptional interior space, 5-star BNCAP rating, and class-leading features at Rs 9–18 lakh.
The EV version brings all those Syros strengths with an electric powertrain. At an expected Rs 15–20 lakh, it will be India’s most affordable Kia EV by over Rs 25 lakh — and will compete directly with Tata Nexon EV, Mahindra XUV 3XO EV, and MG Windsor EV.

💡 Expert Tip: Wait for the July 23–28 official reveal before booking — Kia typically announces prices at the debut event itself. First-month bookings of Kia EVs have historically qualified for launch benefits worth Rs 30,000–75,000 in accessories or extended warranty.
